Marketing Developer Job Description
Froedtert South is seeking a highly motivated and creative Marketing Developer to join our growing team. This role will play a key part in executing our marketing strategies and contributing to the overall success of our marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, organized, and enthusiastic individual with a passion for marketing and a desire to learn and grow within the healthcare industry.
Job Summary:
The Marketing Developer will support the marketing team in a variety of activities, including content creation, social media management, event planning, market research, and administrative tasks. This position requires strong communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience in healthcare marketing is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Content Creation: Assist in developing engaging content for various marketing channels, including website, blog, social media, email newsletters, and marketing collateral. This may include writing, editing, proofreading, and sourcing images/videos. Content should be appropriate for a healthcare audience and compliant with relevant regulations. Social Media Management: Schedule and publish social media content, monitor social media channels for engagement and feedback, and assist in developing social media campaigns. Ensure all social media activity aligns with Froedtert South's brand guidelines and complies with HIPAA regulations. Email Marketing: Assist in creating and deploying email marketing campaigns, managing email lists, and tracking campaign performance. Event Planning: Support the planning and execution of marketing events, including health fairs, community outreach programs, and other promotional activities. This includes coordinating logistics, managing registrations, and promoting events. Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, analyze competitor activities, and gather insights to inform marketing strategies. Focus on understanding the healthcare needs of the community Froedtert South serves. Marketing Analytics: Track and analyze marketing campaign performance, prepare reports, and identify areas for improvement. Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the marketing team, such as managing budgets, processing invoices, and coordinating meetings. Website Management: Assist in updating and maintaining website content, including blog posts, physician profiles, service information, and landing pages. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments within Froedtert South, such as patient relations, physician liaison services, and clinical departments, to ensure alignment of marketing efforts. Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred. 1-2 years of experience in marketing or a related field1 is a plus, but entry-level candidates with strong internships will be considered. Experience in healthcare marketing is highly desirable. Strong writing, editing, and communication skills. Proficiency in social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn). Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact) is a plus. Familiarity with website content management systems (CMS) is a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.2 Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva) are a plus. A passion for marketing and a desire to learn and grow within the healthcare industry. Understanding of HIPAA regulations and healthcare compliance is a plus.
