**Job Title:** Marketing Director
**About the Opportunity:** The Marketing Director will oversee, coordinate, and participate in the development of marketing strategies and products for the for PHC North America. This individual will also be responsible for providing leadership and management of the business strategic and tactical marketing activities for North America. This is a great opportunity to directly impact the organization!
**Location** : This is a hybrid role that reports into the Wood Dale, IL office on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
**What you will be doing:**
+ Lead the marketing strategy for product positioning, market expansion, margins, pricing, and customer satisfaction and loyalty.
+ Participate in the development of annual marketing financial and strategic plans.
+ Manage and oversee marketing budget to distribute funds across marketing areas to best suit the needs of the business and its strategic efforts.
+ Manage activities and budget for contract marketing agency and print subcontractors.
+ Manage adherence to corporate branding guidelines for internal and external messaging across organization.
+ Oversee product marketing including product launch management, sales training, presentations, sales tools development, competitive analysis, and general sales support.
+ Lead product management activities including market and customer research, segmentation, market, and product requirements definition. Effectively translate these needs & requirements into effective business objectives and product strategies.
+ Lead the development of Portfolio & Product positioning, go-to-market, and commercialization strategies with the Product Management Team.
+ Ensure timely and effective execution of the marketing campaigns & programs.
+ Serve as a role model for establishing effective cross-functional relationships with R&D, Engineering, Development for Product Development efforts.
+ Serve as a role model for establishing effective cross-functional relationships with Field Sales & Manufacturer’s Representative organizations to enable effective implementation of go-to-market and commercialization strategies.
**What you need for success:**
+ Bachelors required, Master’s or MBA preferred.
+ 7 years of increasing managerial experience specifically in marketing Life Science products into complex life science workflows and achieving excellent business results strongly preferred.
+ Exceptional track record of developing and implementing marketing and go-to-market/commercialization strategies that have consistently met or exceeded planned objectives, providing personal leadership and organizational development through example.
+ Demonstrated track-record of effective product marketing/management of a broad portfolio into complex life science workflows and achieving excellent business results.
+ Demonstrated use of marketing skills in the life science market to drive commercialization of products.
+ Up to 30% overnight travel.
