Marketing Event Intern

Job Summary:
We are excited to add a Marketing Events Intern to the SCRAM Systems marketing team. This unique part-time opportunity will provide insights and hands-on experience to the event marketing process. As a member of the event team, you will play a critical role in supporting the planning, execution, and success of marketing operations, including tradeshows, internal, and external events. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a creative approach to marketing events.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Event Planning and Coordination:
* Assist in the planning and execution of tradeshows, conferences, and other marketing events.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure all event elements align with company goals.
Marketing Operations Support:
* Assist in maintaining event marketing materials, such as marketing collateral and giveaways.
* Manage event registration processes including conference payment, badging, travel communication, and track pre- and post-conference attendee lists.
* Work with other internal departments (sales, accounting, product team) to ensure success of events.
On-Site Event Management:
* Provide on-site support (when needed) for regional or national tradeshows and events, including setup, breakdown, and troubleshooting.
* Serve as a point of contact for event staff, vendors, and attendees.
Administrative Tasks:
* Maintain detailed records of event activities, timelines, and contacts.
* Schedule and coordinate meetings with stakeholders and vendors as needed.
* Oversee and monitor conference budget expenditures.
* Coordinate and maintain internal company employee popup store.
* Research new conferences, events, and speaking opportunities
* Support the marketing team with additional administrative duties as required.
Work Environment:
* This position is based in the Denver metro area and requires in-office presence for 25 hours per week. This role may occasionally involve lifting and carrying event materials and equipment.

Education and Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree (or graduating in May of 2025) in marketing, communications, event management, or a related field.
