Marsh McLennan is seeking candidates for the position of Marketing Executive, based out of our Dublin office.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, competent and professional Marketing Executive with broad strategic and campaign marketing experience preferably within a risk, insurance or financial services corporate business environment.
Using strong strategic marketing, communication and project management skills, this position will support a dynamic and fast paced Ireland marketing team to deliver high quality, impactful and effective global and local marketing campaigns across a range of media and channels.
The successful candidate should be a self-starter with strong business acumen and critical thinking alongside a flexible approach to supporting a range of marketing priorities and campaigns. As a result, you will expand your experience and knowledge of best-in-class campaign design as part of a large and growing European and Global marketing team of specialists.
Reporting to the Marsh McLennan Ireland marketing leader and working with stakeholders from across the business, this role will mainly focus on our Marsh Ireland business while offering a wide variety of exposure and career opportunities, including:
Supporting the development and implementation of strategic marketing plans for Marsh in Ireland.Managing the localisation and rollout of best-in-class global marketing campaigns for Marsh in Ireland.Supporting the design and planning of multichannel and targeted local campaigns for Marsh in Ireland.Managing the development and rollout of local campaign collateral in line with agreed brand guidelines and campaign plans.Managing the lead generation process for Marsh Ireland.Work closely with the reporting and analytics team to develop reports and dashboards, providing transparency and insights on marketing activities for Marsh IrelandAs a generalist marketing professional, you will need to be adept at multitasking, and as comfortable organising webinars and events as you are running email campaigns, coordinating thought leadership pieces, and composing social media posts.
You will also need to be confident when dealing with senior stakeholders, who will be relying on you for guidance on their internal and external marketing and communication strategies.

We will count on you to:
Work with the marketing leader to develop comprehensive marketing plans aligned to the overall business strategy and objectives.Work with the business to understand their practice areas and client focus, including specific buyer personas and buyer journeys, and using this insight to create fit for purpose and impactful marketing campaigns.Develop, implement, manage and report on proactive, integrated marketing and communications strategies that drive growth for Marsh Ireland.Collaborate with assigned campaign business leads to develop copy, write creative briefs, and manage creative development of marketing content assets, including internal and external email communications, PR, web, social media, print and digital advertising.Collaborate with the digital, design and campaign execution teams to develop, optimise and update collateral and web content and ensure that campaign briefs are communicated and implemented in line with campaign plans, agreed objectives and with due regard to brand guidelines.Participate in the co-ordination, promotion, management and successful delivery of online and in-person events and sponsorship activity.Work with our digital marketing team to develop an ‘always on’ in-bound digital content plan for Marsh Ireland – managing execution through to reporting against KPI’s.Establish a network of contacts within the Marsh McLennan-wide marketing community to support your work and ongoing development and learning.Supporting pre-campaign planning, campaign execution and post-campaign analysis.Work closely with Compliance and Legal to ensure all financial promotions undergo sign off and adhere to Marsh McLennan and Marsh policy.Collaborate across the marketing team to share best practices, ensure integration, efficient delivery and consistency of approach.Actively engage key internal stakeholders with proactive internal communication campaigns to create advocates and amplify campaign activity.What you need to have:
Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Marketing, Public/Media Relations or CommunicationsRelevant B2B marketing and communications experience within a large, complex, and matrixed environment.Experience working with a wide variety of stakeholders to develop and execute multi-channel and multi-segment marketing and communication strategies, campaigns and tactics.Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills, with proficiency in absorbing new ideas and concepts quickly and ensuring they are clearly communicated.Expert at handling multiple priorities to deliver exceptional results on deadlines with strong attention to detail while prioritising and planning efficiently when dealing with multiple stakeholders and projects.Strong digital marketing knowledge and experience including of marketing automation and CRM systems, social media delivery platforms, LinkedIn and Google advertising and running Zoom webinars.Extensive experience across all marketing disciplines and delivery channels.Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills.Strong business acumen, critical thinking and project management capabilities.What makes you stand out:
