Marmon Industrial Water designs and manufacturers water and wastewater treatment equipment solutions, under the brand names Graver Water Systems and Ecodyne. The Marketing Intern will have the opportunity to contribute to a number of Marketing initiatives. During the internship, you will research, assess, analyze, and make a formal recommendation that will impact the future growth of the business. Further, this internship could provide exposure to product lifecycle management, NPD, new product launch/execution, communications, and event planning.  This internship provides a real opportunity to develop in the space of product management and marketing.   

Primary Responsibilities could Include: 

- Support strategic assessment work: 

Uncover and assess customer needs and trends Explore market, especially technology advancements and trends  Competitive analysis (core and adjacent markets) including pricing, features, and benefits  Assessing company core competencies and gaps Support VOC events Summarize key issues and opportunities gleaned from research and assessment work

- Support digital marketing efforts – including data analysis and enhancing internal metrics. 

- Support new product development project 

- Support campaign development and communications planning efforts 

- Support internal Communication efforts 

- Support trade shows and customer event planning 

Qualifications: 

Rising Junior or Senior Majoring in Marketing, Finance or Business 3.0 GPA Ability to think strategically and creatively to gather insights Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent time management skills  Self-starting problem-solving skills 

Certain peak periods may provide opportunity for overtime. This is a paid position. Internship will run for 10 weeks from June to August. Exact dates flexible.
