Marketing Intern

McCormick & Company, Incorporated is seeking a full-time Marketing Intern located at 24 Schilling Road, Hunt Valley, MD.  This is a 10-week internship (June 2 - August 8, 2025) which requires 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Marketing at McCormick & Co., Inc. is more than just creating advertisements. We are a Consumer Product management team with P&L responsibility for our categories that include spices, herbs, seasonings, condiments and sauces. We are a team that develops deep brand connections with our consumers and our retail partners. As an intern, you'll get exposure to business-critical projects while working with cross functional team members in Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Global Marketing and Product Development. You will learn the consumer channel, its value chain, how to isolate key consumer insights and the power of bringing data analytics into business decisions to identify key business risks and opportunities. A successful candidate will be willing to have a natural curiosity to identify underleveraged opportunities to drive positive business results with the ability to engage and influence a diverse group of thinkers.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Lead the growth of the McCormick branded consumer products division, through: Using business analytics to isolate key drivers of growth for product categories to identify and develop competitive advantages Partnering with sales and cross functional team members to provide support on sell in of strategic initiatives with customers Working closely with Global Marketing team to develop synergized marketing campaigns across channels that optimize return on investment Partnering with Consumer Insights team to understand how to identify key consumer insights and how to apply them to businesses to drive long term growth Other projects as assigned

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

Currently enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate program as a Junior or Senior with degree completion between June 2025 - June 2026 Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a Business, Marketing, Data Analytics or a related field Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to investigate complex issues and conduct root cause analysis to resolve problems Must be able to prioritize and balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
