Marketing Intern
Job Title: Local Marketing Intern Location: Western New York (WNY) Type: Part-Time, Paid Internship (Hours TBD, College Credit Eligibility to be Determined) Pay: $18.00 - 22.00/hour Duration: Spring Semester About Busy Bees North America Busy Bees North America is a leader in early childhood education, operating exceptional child care centers across the United States and Canada, including BrightPath and our other trusted child care brands. Our mission is to provide nurturing, educational, and safe environments for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years old. About the Role The Local Marketing Intern will support regional efforts to enhance community awareness and drive enrollment at Busy Bees North America's child care centers, including BrightPath. This role is ideal for a motivated and organized individual eager to gain hands-on experience in event planning, community outreach, and marketing execution. Working closely with the Marketing and Center teams, you will research, plan, and participate in local events to showcase BrightPath and our other child care brands, ensuring families are aware of the high-quality education and care we provide.     Key Responsibilities: Event Research & Planning: Identify and research local community events, fairs, family expos, and other opportunities for Busy Bees North America, BrightPath, and our other brands to participate in. Event Execution: Coordinate event logistics, including scheduling, securing booth spaces, and overseeing event day setup and teardown. Brand Representation: Serve as a local ambassador for Busy Bees North America by interacting with families, answering questions, and sharing marketing materials. Partnership Development: Assist in building relationships with local businesses, schools, and community organizations to support ongoing marketing efforts. Marketing Materials Management: Ensure promotional items, signage, and materials are organized, stocked, and ready for events. Performance Reporting: Track attendance, engagement, and leads generated at events. Share insights and suggestions to improve future outreach. Requirements: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college/university program (Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred). Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Availability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends for events. Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement will be provided). Comfort with public speaking and interacting with diverse groups. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).     What You’ll Gain: Hands-on experience in local marketing, event planning, and community outreach.
