This is a position with The Marley Company, a parent company which provides administrative support to the SPX Enterprises HVAC Heating businesses (such as WM Technologies, LLC, Marley Engineered Products, LLC, Patterson-Kelley, LLC)  and includes all Weil-McLain® branded products.

 

Seeking a paid graphic design intern to assist and support our in-house marketing communications team responsible for the delivery of content curation, new product introduction campaigns and promotions, social media selling and more!  

Responsibilities include:
•    Select photo images: Choose photos for marketing materials, blog posts, and websites 
•    Develop images: Develop images for social and blog posts 
•    Update websites: Assist with lite website updates and edits on WordPress 
•    Assist with rebranding: Update product collateral to new brand templates 
•    Retouch images: Retouch and manipulate images 
•    Collaborate with the marketing team: Under the direction of a Sr Designer, work the marketing team to help coordinate various marketing activities 
•    Update backend systems with product and marketing content
•    Help manage, maintain and organize the marketing file server of assets

Requirements
•    Experience in both print and digital design layout creations
•    Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
•    Solid understanding of color theory and typography
•    Strong project management and organizational skills
•    Ability to collaborate effectively with teams while independently managing projects

Education

•    Student working towards a bachelor’s degree in Marketing or similarly related field
•    Candidates must have completed their second year of studies and be entering their Junior or Senior year
•    Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
•    High problem-solving skills and self-direction
•    Company will not provide sponsorship for position. Must be eligible to work in US
