Marketing Intern (Acquisition) - Summer 2025
About The RoleAs a Marketing Intern, you will have the opportunity to work hands-on in The RealReal’s essential branch of Acquisition Marketing - acquiring new customers through targeted campaigns that you will actively build out. If you are eager to learn and take on a new challenge in a fast-paced environment, this is the role for you!

**This is a 10 week internship from 6/2/2025 - 8/8/2025.**

What You Get To Do Every Day

Assist in planning, executing, and optimizing  acquisition campaigns across channels such as Meta, TikTok, Yelp, etc.

Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor analysis, and potential customer segments.

Collaborate with the team to brief in compelling content and ad copy for campaigns.

Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, cost-per-acquisition (CPA), return on ad spend (ROAS), and click-through rates (CTR).

Support testing efforts to improve campaign effectiveness and optimize user journeys.

Assist in preparing regular reports on acquisition performance.

Work with cross-functional teams including creative, brand, merch, and site.

Stay updated on the latest digital marketing trends and best practices.

Consistently work on larger projects throughout the term dedicated to acquisition marketing.

Learn from cross-functional team members about their roles and how the general marketing team works on campaigns together.

What You Bring To The Role

Minimum Requirements:

Full-time (minimum 12 credit hours) undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field graduating after December 2025

Strong analytical skills and a passion for data-driven decision-making.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Google Suite and familiarity with Google Analytics or other analytics tools.

Preferred Requirements:

Basic understanding of digital marketing channels

Experience with digital advertising platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, or others is a plus.

Compensation, Benefits, + Perks

This role is not eligible for benefits.

The expected hourly rate for this role is 20.00-25.00. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR’s total rewards package. Depending on role, employees may also be eligible for a bonus program, incentive pay and benefits.
