Marketing Intern Home Entertainment (Fluent French Speaker)

 

 

 

Is this the role for you?

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Home Entertainment Marketing team in a variety of activities designed to promote the combined content offering of Paramount Pictures, Miramax, CBS, Showtime, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon and MTV - across digital formats.

 

Placement Objectives:

Build a deeper understanding of the commercial side of the film & TV industry Gain insight into home media content marketing & distribution Gain experience of working in a commercial marketing environment Gain confidence and the opportunity to demonstrate work experience in an iconic, Global, entertainment organisation

What will you be doing?

 

Team Admin

Monitor the EMEA competitor environment - keeping track of key competitor release information, i.e. box office performance, Home Ent release dates, consumer pricing, special collector’s edition boxsets, offers across digital services, etc. Handle the team workflow, tracking documents – monitoring key points for each upcoming, marketing campaign Input updates into the marketing team “catalogue marketing planning” file Assist in the implementation of key customer events – premieres & screenings Support PR activities: translation of press releases + interviews with cast
 

Customer Marketing

Support the briefing and collation of creative assets for use in key digital customer campaigns, e.g. Amazon Prime Assist in the creation / execution of quarterly digital catalogue, temporary price move (TPR) plans in-line with commercial objectives Inputting content scheduling and pricing changes into key digital systems, e.g. Apple ITC, AirTable Assist with the preparation and distribution of creative assets to our digital distribution partners – reviewing assets for each new release and working collaboratively with LA marketing team Support in the creation of Quarterly presentations Lead platform audits to check for price, availability and artwork
 

Consumer Marketing

Assist in the delivery of title marketing campaigns – including;

Briefing consumer media campaigns to our Marketing Services team Briefing consumer publicity and PR campaigns Own the delivery of catalogue marketing campaigns including working with internal and external partners
 

What are we looking for?
 

Essential – Ability to speak and write in French (native or fluent) Digital skills – able to demonstrate proficient use Microsoft Office (with particular focus on MS Excel) and an ability to learn to use new digital systems Organised, self-motivated and detailed - with a passion for co-ordination and prioritisation The ability to multi-task and stick to deadlines Best suited to a completer finisher, someone who is motivated to push themselves and the team to ensure projects are completed on time A clear communicator – both written and verbally Passionate about film & TV content – able to converse fluently about the latest content releases in cinemas, on streaming services, TV broadcast, etc.
