Marketing Internship – Mississauga or Ottawa - Summer 2025

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Marketing team at Victor Canada. This role will be based in either our Mississauga or Ottawa office starting in May 2025. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We are seeking an individual who is passionate about enhancing the customer experience through education, is powered by both creativity and KPIs and has a keen awareness of audience needs. The successful candidate will be an innovative self-starter with experience in content creation, digital marketing, social media, communications and go-to-market planning.

We will count on you to:

Assist with producing compelling copy and creative for email and advertising campaigns, social media posts and other marketing collateralAssist with the design and creation of email campaignsAssist with creation of webinar slide decks (PowerPoint)Support ongoing website management; updating content, imagery and suggesting ideas for improved user experienceCarry out competitor research, evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of their websites, products and servicesAssist with data management, analysis and reviewing campaign effectivenessPresent new and innovative ideas to ensure the organization’s marketing strategies are fresh and exciting.

What you need to have:

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite preferred.Experience with a content management system preferred.Strong written and verbal communication skills required.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret data and information.Ability to write articles and promotional materials that conform to prescribed style and format.Is a strong independent worker but also a collegial team playerNot afraid to share ideas and voice opinionsCandidates will be required to submit work samples.

Completing a Bachelor's degree or diploma majoring in commerce, marketing, communications business administration or other related fieldsMarketing, commerce, business administration or sales experience preferredDemonstrated academic excellence with a minimum GPA of 3.0Involvement in extra-curricular activities, clubs and/or sports teams preferred
