Marketing Internship\n

Primary Purpose: \n

This internship opportunity with Heritage Environmental Services is a 12-week program where you are immersed in your assigned department gaining real hands-on experience and participating in 12-15 different events with the intern cohort.\n

The Marketing Intern at Heritage Environmental Services will assist the marketing team in executing various marketing strategies, campaigns, and projects. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, content creation, social media management, and market research, all within an environmentally focused organization.\n

Essential Functions & Requirements: \n\nEnsures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.\nAssist in the development of marketing touchpoints, including blog posts, social media content, newsletters, sales collateral, and promotional materials.\nSupport the management of the company's social media platforms by scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and analyzing performance metrics.\nConduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and target audience behaviors to inform marketing strategies.\nContribute to the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, including email marketing, digital advertising, and event promotions.\nHelp maintain brand consistency across all marketing channels and materials.\nAssist in tracking and analyzing marketing performance metrics, preparing reports to assess the effectiveness of marketing efforts.\nSupport the organization and promotion of company events, webinars, and trade shows.\nProvide general administrative support to the marketing team, such as scheduling meetings, managing marketing materials, and coordinating with vendors.\n\n

Education:\n\nCandidate must be a full-time enrolled college student pursing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Creative Writing, Graphic Design, Advertising, or related field (required) \n\n

Experience: \n\nPractical knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite and graphic design (preferred) \n\n

Competencies: \n\nRegular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job. Must be able to complete a minimum of 10 out of 12 weeks.\n\n
