Marketing Manager, Individual Retirement

Equitable is seeking a dynamic and resourceful Marketing Manager to join our Individual Retirement Commercial Line of Business Marketing. The Marketing Manager, Individual Retirement Business works closely with other members of the Individual Retirement business and the Marketing CoE (Center of Excellence) to provide marketing support for the annuity business line. This position is a hybrid with a blend of in-person and remote work schedule out of our Charlotte, NC or New York City office.


Key Job Responsibilities

Manage the creation and implementation of firm specific needs including custom material, campaigns and digital platforms for business-critical product approvals and rollouts.Collaborate with Marketing COE members to implement Individual Retirement marketing programs in connection with product launches and promotion of existing products and value add programs.Partner with Individual Retirement Tribe/Squads and engage with numerous teams including Individual Retirement Sales, Product Management, Strategic Account Management, Creative Services, Brand, Analytics and Compliance.Create and maintain marketing material across multiple channels articulating required elements for production and/or promotion across mediums (print, online, digital, web, social). Knowledge of document management; ability to categorize, integrate, update, document and distribute business information in a secure, effective way. Efficiently operate content management requirements including archiving and audit trails.Implement end-to-end marketing programs for key focus firms including production to delivery, adhering to departmental processes to ensure high quality of work.Create and maintain quarterly newsletters to engage 3rd party Strategic Account Centers of Influence.Operating knowledge of tools, techniques and practices for gathering and reporting data to evaluate performance and determine impact of marketing programs.Create and manage 3rd party firm and broker communications for Individual Retirement business lines to maintain transparency around product launches, service announcements and regulatory notifications.In depth knowledge of marketing systems including Workfront, eDox, Seismic, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adtrax and Tableau.Manage biweekly Cap Rate communication for dynamic products to financial professionals.Fully participate using agile methodology to manage projects.

The base salary range for this position is $54,000 - $81,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications 2 years professional marketing experience

Preferred Qualifications

Exceptional collaborator and proven experience managing projects.Excellent written and communication skills. Agile experience a plus.A desire to learn new skills.Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Powerpoint skills.Flexible and adaptable with a proven ability to work effectively in a variety of situations and respond to change in a positive manner.Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment, making effective judgements as to prioritizing and time allocation.Highly organized with strong attention to details.Comfortable with digital platforms and web related marketing.Demonstrated high degree of professionalism, inclusive and collaborative work style.Stand out writing skills and interpersonal skills.Self-starter who is eager to learn and is resourceful.
