The Canadian Brewhouse opened its first restaurant in 2001, in Edmonton, Alberta. By adding awesome talent to our team, serious dedication and persistence, and keeping the guest in mind, we’ve grown to 42 Canadian Brewhouses, 1 Canadian Icehouse, 3 Banquet Bars (second restaurant concept), and 40 Plantlife Cannabis dispensaries.
The Marketing Manager, Responsible is responsible for leading, managing and overseeing the execution of marketing and communication strategies for three brands: Plantlife Cannabis, Ribeye Butcher Shop and Tesoro, in alignment with sales goals and objectives. This includes strategies from initial campaign ideation through to execution across all channels, including in-store, OOH, traditional, digital, influencer and social media. This is a 15 month contracted position.
Job Responsibilities:
Contributes to the development of the annual CBH Group marketing strategy, budget, goals, objectives and systems alongside leaders in the Marketing team.Manages and oversees the execution of the marketing strategy for Plantlife Cannabis, Ribeye Butcher Shop and Tesoro across all channels, including in-store, OOH (billboards, etc.), traditional (radio, print, tv, etc.), digital (website, SEO, PPC, email, etc.) and social media, in alignment with sales goals and objectives.Liaise with other members of the marketing team to support strategies, content and targeted promotions for website, digital marketing, public relations and customer loyalty initiatives.Manage strategies, content and target promotions on social media.Direct, brief and manage internal and external partners including media, creative, etc.Organizing and facilitating sponsorships and contra with sports leagues and professional groups.Collaborate with external partners on all marketing strategies, tactics and reporting. Review and approve of all creative and communications tactics for the three brands.Submit annual award submissions.Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant stakeholders are kept informed of marketing objectives.Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing and communications strategies and tactics.Continuously current in brand-building, social media, and digital marketing trends.Analyzes, measures, and reports on marketing and communication efforts across all platforms, identifying and tackling opportunities for greater success.Supervisor to the Social Media Coordinator, RetailRequirements
Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and Google applicationsBachelors degree (relevant communications/marketing, business, public relations and/or real estate) or equivalent.5 to 8 years of experience in marketing roles – within hospitality considered an asset.Experience managing a team of marketing professionals.Considering applying?
