Marketing Manager, Season Pass Acquisition

Job Summary:

The Season Pass Marketing team is responsible for driving strategy and go-to-market execution for Vail Resorts' season pass portfolio, anchored by the industry-leading Epic Pass. The team also leads projects from ideation to fruition around innovation for the Pass business - recent examples of this include launching Epic Australia Day Pass, Epic FlexPay and Epic Mountain Rewards.

 

This position focuses on driving international growth, both by attracting international guests to visit our North American resorts as well as driving the Epic Australia Pass business. This individual will partner on key business cases to drive innovation on the Season Pass team, and collaborate with our channel, analytics and international stakeholders to build innovative marketing strategies. This role is intended for a curious and creative individual that excels at critical thinking, with high learning agility and a strong sense of ownership. Must thrive in a collaborative environment. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

Work with international partners to drive growth of the Epic Australia Pass through innovative channel strategies and executional excellence Develop go-to-market plans for key international markets to attract guests to our North American Resorts Partner with channel teams on international marketing execution, and make key recommendations to leadership in order to improve or optimize strategy Leverage  dashboards (Tableau and Power BI) to draw clear, concise narratives on business performance in tandem with our Pass Analytics team Partner with the strategic research team to execute guest insight surveys to inform strategic marketing plans Collaborate with Epic Pass Brand Team to move the needle on what our brand stands for, and what we mean to our guests  Study the competitive landscape and market trends, identify and report out on insights to influence decision-making  Assess strategic opportunities for product/business innovation Provide support across the broader Season Pass Team to drive results while gaining exposure to the full business

 

Job Requirements

Required:

Four-year college degree required Three to five years of marketing experience Proven track record of marketing execution, ownership of results, and strong orientation to detail Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to identify opportunities & drive solutions Strength in written and verbal communication, ability to tell compelling stories about full-cycle projects Demonstrated learning agility. Ability to adopt new skills and responsibilities, drive in with curiosity and develop expertise Able to own and drive multiple projects simultaneously with cross-functional partners Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment; a self-starter without the need for daily direction Strong management of multiple stakeholders, own and collaborative inter-departmental No outdoor or ski experience necessary

Preferred:

Demonstrated experience with international marketing Strength in storytelling and presentation skills Demonstrate ability to work with analytical partners

 

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $83,000 - $100,000 + annual bonus. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Vail Resorts offers a ‘Hybrid’ work environment for Broomfield-based roles where employees must live within 50 miles of the Broomfield office and work on-site Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and have flexibility to work off-site on Mondays and Fridays.
