Position:Marketing Manager

Position Summary:The Marketing Manager is responsible for implementing initiatives across Health Plan Marketing team workstreams that could include lead generation, sales/broker engagement, and member communication. They develop complex strategies and project plans and oversee the support team that executes on those strategies. They are accountable for the outcomes, accuracy, and efficiency of the campaigns they oversee, including managing direct reports. They must have the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and implement first rate marketing strategies.

Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities

Oversees marketing workstreams in areas such as lead generation, sales/broker engagement, and member communication to include activities such as strategy and planning, channel mix, user experience, offer and asset development, compliance review, media buys, print production, CRM management, and reporting.Manages the implementation of channels such as direct mail, newspaper, out-of-home, and DRTV. Partners closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to ensure integration across digital and non-digital channels and processes.Oversees communication and collaboration with external media agencies and vendors to execute media planning, buys, and deployment. Fosters accountability and collaboration among team members. Implements annual performance reviews, goal-setting exercises, regular one-on-one check-ins, and career development conversations with direct reports.Develops and oversees end-to-end project plans and ensures team members have what they need to complete projects accurately, on time, and within budget. Utilizes best practices, research, and historical performance to develop targeted, data-informed campaigns across defined audience segments.Oversees the team’s involvement in the cross-functional review process and ensures prompt, efficient review and submission of marketing assets.Recommends ideas and solutions to support health plan growth objectives. Ensures knowledge of the latest marketing trends/technologies and advises the team on new opportunities to test, refine, and innovate across all channels.Completes additional duties and special projects as needed. ​

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field or equivalent.6+ years of relevant experience or the knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed in the role.2-4 years of project, program, and people leadership experience or the knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed in the role.Experience overseeing marketing initiatives from strategy to implementation.Strong project-management skills with the ability to delegate to and support junior team members.Expert at using the Microsoft Office suite of programs (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and skilled at learning new platforms as needed (e.g., project management and CRM systems).Considerable experience partnering with and managing third-party vendors and/or agencies.Strong data and research skills including the ability to use and interpret performance metrics.Advanced knowledge of marketing best practices, specifically for direct mail, DRTV, newspaper and out-of-home.Exceptional interpersonal, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.Detail oriented and highly organized with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Excellent written and oral communication skills. ​

PreferredExperience using project management systems, like Workfront, and CRM platforms, like Salesforce.Healthcare or health system marketing experience.

Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee works in normal office working conditions.

The hiring range for this position is:

$72,800.00-$97,400.00
