The Marketing Manager is responsible for the company marketing programs including print, electronic, and web-based media, as well as corporate branding.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Schedule and execute marketing campaigns, including coordination of ad placements and materials.Develop marketing materials for Silgan Unicep and other brands, including (but not limited to) display ads, brochures, and sales and promotional items.Develop a corporate branding program.Draft, schedule, and execute press releases.Create and distribute newsletter to Silgan Unicep database.Research and identify target markets and develop sales contact lists as directed by SVP/GM and Engineering.Coordinate trade show participation and attend as needed.Oversee contract graphic artist in the design and creation of Silgan Unicep marketing materials.Participate in the analysis of marketing, sales data, and forecasts.Participate in the development of and revisions to the company’s marketing plan.Provide inside sales support for direct mail, samples, sales lead follow-up, Goldmine contact updates, and other marketing/sales activities as needed.Update the Silgan Unicep website on a regular basis (i.e. new products and news updates).Develop and execute audio-visual corporate presentation.Assist in the development of the annual marketing budget.Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, OSHA, and all other regulatory requirements, in accordance with company policy.Adhere to company safety requirements.Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, or a combination of equivalent education and experience.Minimum 5 years’ experience in marketing or sales.Proven ability to identify and develop new business partners.Proven record of maintaining strong business relationships.Good negotiation skills.Strong presentation skills.Excellent communication skills.Strong organization skills.Ability to work independently with little direction.Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Proficient in Microsoft Office.Experience in a FDA regulated manufacturing facility preferred.Knowledge of GMP regulations preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk.Ability to travel by plane or car.Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 pounds (12 kg).Regularly required to talk and hear.Vision includes close vision, color vision, and distance vision.
