Marketing Manager Job ID 200008 Posted 25-Jan-2025 Service line Advisory Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Marketing Location(s) Saddle Brook - New Jersey - United States of America **About The Role:** As our New Jersey-Based Marketing Manager, you will act as a leader of the business development marketing team at CBRE, building processes that support development of marketing strategies and deliverables to support our business in New Jersey, as well as several other local markets. This job is a part of the Marketing functional area which focuses on designing, developing, and implementing marketing programs to support the organization’s products and services. This team uses targeted marketing strategies to secure new business and launch and position products and services. **What You’ll Do:** + Work within a team to develop and deliver projects to support company growth and business development. Oversee projects from beginning to end including developing and sharing project ideas, soliciting feedback, and delivering quality results. Projects include presentations, proposals, capabilities summaries, reports, brochures, email marketing, etc. + Collaborate with brokers, officer leadership, marketing team members and other project participants to understand the assignment and audience, and make strategic recommendations on win strategies, messaging, and layouts for collateral. + Provide formal supervision to business development team employees, both local and remote. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees. + Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed. Set department deadlines. + Serve advertising and promotion contact for a local area offices. + Oversee the implementation of the team’s marketing campaigns. Approve and review creative, copy, and proposed timelines. + Ensure compliance with company standards, logo, and consistency of marketing materials. + Prepare quarterly and annual marketing reports for management. + Create persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, management, or public groups. + Apply knowledge of own discipline and how it integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives. + Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems/processes. + Exchange and explain difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle sensitive issues. + Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. + To thrive in this role, you must have a minimum of 5 years of related work experience including marketing experience where you worked with a B2B team communicating sophisticated ideas and campaigns to people at all levels to drive measurable change. + Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and exciting performance and retention preferred. + Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems. + Leadership skills to empower team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job field and department. + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. + Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive attitude. + Strong communication skills and experience running and leading presentations. + Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
