Marketing Manager
POSITION SUMMARY

The Marketing Manager is responsible for the implementation of marketing tactics that support the organization and service line plans to increase brand awareness and drive patient growth.  The Marketing Manager will work to support marketing leadership to execute the tactics as outlined in the strategic marketing plans exercising independent judgment and creativity.

 

The Marketing Manager is also responsible for media buys and ad hoc projects as requested. This includes the development of marketing briefs, marketing plans, media buys and campaign reporting  In addition, the Marketing Manager will work closely with internal service line clients and external partner agencies and is responsible for the successful trafficking of all materials (creative, media, outdoor) as well as meeting all deadlines.

 

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Monitoring project budgets, including month end budget reconciliation and accrual process. Manage marketing invoices including coordination, submission and processing. Facilitate contracts as needed for external partner agencies. Support market research initiatives. Assist with performance marketing reporting. Ensure unified brand presence (messaging, visual identity) across all marketing channels.

 

This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field required.

 

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:

 

EXPERIENCE:  5-7 years prior experience in Marketing required. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required. Strong proofreading skills. Proficiency with computer applications required.

Demonstrates the competencies as established on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool for this position.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position requires some walking/standing and may have prolonged periods of sitting.  Works with such equipment as computer terminal, fax machine, printer, telephone and copier.  Position requires some travel, flexibility of hours including weekends, evenings and on-call coverage as well as lifting up to 20 lbs. This position reports to department leadership.
