ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-
Help deliver best-in-class global brand and marketing strategies that will create maximum value for the Skechers Performance categories.Work closely with the Product Development and Partnerships team on the overall marketing strategy from a key initiative and launch timelines standpoint for all larger campaigns and collaborations.Work closely with the Product Development team to acquire exceptional product knowledge, ensuring that messaging and graphics on marketing assets are in line with specific product usages/technologies.Create seasonal product catalogs to effectively convey each category’s story, seasonal product offerings and technology innovations.Work closely with cross-functional partners (Design, Digital, Product Development, etc.) to help develop exceptional marketing assets across multiple touchpoints, including but not limited to digital, social, advertising, and in-store activities. Assets include (but are not limited to):Marketing imagesProduct/Tech videosProduct beauty shotsServe as the primary point of contact for internal teams regarding marketing assets, providing guidance on usage and managing approval requests.Be the "glue" that holds all campaign projects together, aligning internal teams on strategy and plans, and ensuring adherence to schedules and timelines.Create relevant documents and get approvals from key decision-makers. Documents include, but are not limited to: creative briefs, content briefs, photoshoot plans/schedules, and customer-facing marketing materials (copy, photo/videos/animations, digital and social media assets).Work in partnership with Sports Marketing, Digital Marketing and Partnerships teams to: Draft quarterly plans for social media surrounding key product launches, athlete tournaments, and events.Understand and enforce brand and legal requirements for the application of third-party logos, certifications, and brand guidelines for partnerships and awards.Learn all aspects of seasonal product offerings by integrating into internal and external meetings.Monitor and analyze global market trends, competitor’s products, services, and marketing campaigns.Routinely conduct competitive analysis reports to share with Sales team and upper management.
Continuously search for new, out-of-the-box marketing initiatives to support key initiatives and launches.Work with other Skechers teams to share plans and ‘best practices’ around the world.Job functions, responsibilities, and/or systems are subject to change at the discretion of management with or without prior notification.

Ability to work on-site at Skechers Headquarters in Manhattan Beach, CA.Demonstrate passion and understanding for the world of performance sports and growing a sports brand.Exceptional understanding of the performance sports ecosystem at best-in-class brands.Extensive knowledge of the Skechers Performance product and athlete portfolio.Proactive, energetic and creative mentality to tackle new projects and ideas with a can-do attitudeHigh-level professionalism for external-facing responsibilities and communications.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Former collegiate athlete preferred – with a true passion for sports and fitness.Familiarity with graphic design and content creation tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PPT, Teams, etc), Google Suite, KeyNote.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE-
8+ years of experience in brand marketing or brand management, at a manager-level (or above) role preferably in the footwear, sports or fashion industry.Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.Proven track record of successful marketing campaign development and execution.Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and strategies.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.Creative mindset with a passion for sports and a deep knowledge of the industry.The pay range for this position is $85,000-$100,000.
