We are looking for:

The ASIA (APAC + GCN)  marketing manager is ultimately responsible for developing a strong pipeline of growth programs which lead to generating new leads for the regional / global frontline commercial teams especially in Environment, Hemodialysis, and medical space. The focus of the marketing manager is to: 

Accelerate the development of growth programs through ambitious innovation  Identify new lead [ end use and potential customers] in those segments [business development]   Re-apply and diversify key products and new development opportunities that translate into new leads generating top line revenue.  The position will report to the Global Market Leader and will be based in Asia Pacific region

 

We count on you for:

Market assessment / analysis : 

Segmentation / targeting / competitive positioning of our solutions in medical device, water filtration and hemodialysis - Synthesize market data from multiple sources(primary desk job as well as expert driven information / voice of market)  to form strong market understanding

Define strong value proposition that will maximise value creation in priority market growth program

Develop marketing strategy and plan, including segmentation and implementation milestones which translate into new leads for the commercial front line teams.

Provide market assessments for all sub segments, as well put in place competitive watch and tracking indicator of target markets

Manage and adapt market models by keeping abreast of market changes and disseminate relevant market and technical information

Transversal management

Work with Regional Sales Cluster Managers and Product Managers (PMs) on coordination of pricing activity. Develop and maintain appropriate sales and market support tools

Drive stakeholder buy- in through each milestone of the Marketing Process: Asset management, R&D, Communications, Regional

Coordinate with other business groups, as needed. Manage development resources and process of development jointly with R&D and Market Manager.

Lead Innovation driven growth:

Develop pipeline of Growth Programs

Work with a cross functional team (CTD, R&D, and Frontline) to prioritize growth innovation project based on market attractiveness and unique value proposition

Support alignment of R&D & Technical engineering, application development work with market trends and marketing goals

Represent Syensqo’s interests on industry committees (regulatory and advocacy)

You will bring: 

Master`s degree, preferably in Business/Marketing or Engineering / materials science. At least 5+ years of experience in business development role, or technical support or marketing of chemical, high-performance polymers, membrane, hemodialysis, and medical industries. Experience in leading cross functional teams (technology, product management, R&D, sales) Strong Marketing capabilities, practical knowledge of main Marketing Excellence tools. Strong knowledge of the water and air treatment industry is a plus. Proven track record in driving successful results even without direct authority. Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and bring innovative new ideas. Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking capabilities. Excellent communication and influencing skills. Ability to travel 30 -50% (domestic/international)  The ability to work remotely without direct day to day management supervision
