Marketing Manager I

We are currently seeking a creative, results-driven Marketing Manager with a strong understanding of private capital markets to join our Financial Advisory team supporting our Private Capital Markets (PCM) digital platforms. 

 

Based in our New York or Morristown, or Chicago office as part of our global marketing team, the Manager will partner with key business stakeholders to create and deploy global marketing campaigns. 

 

This marketer will own the marketing strategy for high-profile Private Capital Markets services, including the Valuation Platform and Valuation Benchmarks, crafting messaging and campaign tactics to support revenue growth and client acquisition. The PCM manager will develop lead generation programs across channels to identify new customers and increase the PCM sales funnel. The individual will also coordinate all social messaging for the PCM business and partner with Kroll’s corporate social team to align strategy and best practices. The prospective candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of business marketing experience in the professional services sector and exceptional writing skills.

 

Note: This position will be Hybrid from one of the following offices: New York, Morristown or Chicago

Day-to-day responsibilities: 

Serve as the marketing lead for Kroll’s Private Capital Markets digital platforms. Collaborate with practice leaders to develop world-class marketing campaigns, collateral, and thought leadership that elevates the business and drives growth for core areas: Valuation Platform: A cloud-native portfolio analytics and data management platform for the private capital markets. It enhances investment workflows, allowing teams to monitor portfolios, automate valuations, and benchmark performance. Valuation Benchmarks: Offers the most comprehensive view of private credit’s middle market, allowing asset managers and investors to gain insights into their investments and make informed decisions with confidence. Lead social media efforts for Kroll’s Private Capital Markets digital platforms, enhancing key messages and coordinating the publishing calendar with Kroll’s social media team. Work with business leads to align product marketing strategy with sales and customer goals.  Partner with business marketing colleagues to find cross-service opportunities to promote the PCM product suite. Ensure all marketing efforts are in compliance with regulatory and Kroll brand guidelines. Support select Kroll regional markets with creative, targeted marketing and thought leadership efforts. Collaborate with select Kroll industry experts to enhance thought leadership through innovative lead-generation campaigns. Demonstrate technical expertise in the development and execution of global internal email campaigns. Assist with maintaining the marketing budget by submitting invoices, tracking expenditures, and reconciliation. Leverage Kroll’s proprietary campaign metrics tools to create performance dashboards, distributed to key stakeholders as regular performance updates on marketing and social campaigns. Monitor financial industry trends and news, suggesting thought leadership that elevates client conversations. Work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment to ensure proper comprehensive external and internal marketing material updates. Enforce the Kroll communications guidelines across all marketing and communication materials. Work autonomously, as well as within teams, depending on the project.

 

Essential traits: 

Minimum of 5 years of business marketing experience in the professional services sector. Superb written, copy editing, and oral communication skills. Strong understanding of private capital markets, including different asset classes. Ability to read and analyze financial statements. Up-to-date knowledge of current trends in the financial markets. Proficient in SEO and SEM best practices. Strong marketing operations, presentation, analytics, and other general digital skills (PowerPoint, Tableau, Microsoft suite, Google Suite, Eloqua, Salesforce marketing cloud/social studio, etc.) Strong project management skills. Thorough understanding of the rules governing the grammar and usage of the English language as well as familiarity with standard reference texts. Familiarity with AP style is a plus. Strong attention to detail. Time management and prioritization skills, ability to work well under pressure. Strong interpersonal skills, a team player capable of collaborating across a global organization. Knowledge of how to use productivity tools including Monday.com is a plus. Strong sense of humor is especially welcome.

The current salary range for this position is $60,000 to $150,000
