Job Description
The Marketing Manager II, HCP will play a critical role in the launch of a new therapy for Parkinson’s Disease and reports to the Director, HCP Marketing. This person will lead the creation and execution of the digital marketing strategy, along with all non-personal marketing content. This person will lead website development and deliver a media plan, working in conjunction with the The Lab at AbbVie, that delivers against brand objectives. In addition, the Marketing Manager II will work in partnership with multiple cross-functional stakeholders such as: Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Market Analytics and Business Intelligence (MABI), Legal, Field Operations, Field Sales, Customer Engagement, and Business Services teams, serving as the source of brand knowledge and delivery excellence.
This individual will be the subject matter expert across the team for all Veeva related assets, including 1:1 emails and 3rd party email distribution. As a prominent member of the TAVAPADON Marketing Team, this person must demonstrate strong competency in communication, strategic thinking and analytical skills to successfully execute against the brand’s strategic plans. Strong collaboration with the Integrated Brand Team and Sales Leadership Teams is essential in this role.
Key Job Responsibilities
+ Lead the development of the HCP website(s) for Tavapadon
+ Develop all non-personal marketing content and materials that pull through the brand strategy, including banners, emails, direct mail, etc.
+ Serve as the team expert regarding all Veeva related content and 1:1 field content
+ Build expert disease state and brand knowledge
+ Liaison with The Lab at AbbVie, and build a strong network across this part of the organization
+ Partner with medical, legal, and regulatory teams to review and approve promotional materials
+ Partner with MABI to gain insights and deep understanding of our customers
+ Lead digital strategy and execution while supporting annual business and marketing plan development
+ Develop robust working relationships with key customers (both internal and external) through exceptional communication and partnership practices
+ Bring innovative digital opportunities to differentiate brand and education providers
+ Seek out and share digital best practices across various business units at AbbVie
+ Collaborate and communicate with multiple agencies and external vendors to plan for, prioritize, and execute brand tactics while managing budget to plan
+ Operate in compliance with all AbbVie internal policies (ethics, environmental health and safety, financial, human resources, and general business policies) and applicable external regulatory requirements
This role can be hired as a Grade 18 or 19; candidate experience will determine grade.
Qualifications
+ BA/BS required; MBA preferred
+ Minimum 4-7 years of pharmaceutical industry experience required, digital marketing, sales or HCP marketing experience preferred
+ 1-2 years of experience in a digital marketing role and understanding of multi- and omnichannel marketing
+ Must be able to provide specific examples of working on digital strategy and/or execution of media plans specific to brand marketing
+ Expertise in Veeva platforms
+ Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to make effective presentations to internal and external customers, sales teams, and senior management
+ Ability to work across multiple stakeholders
+ Strong creative and conceptual thinking skills
+ Strong interpersonal skills
+ Financial/budgetary experience

+ The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
