The mission of Success in Education is to provide a pathway to college or careers. We do this through literacy, technology and mentoring programs, and exposure to scholarships, internships, and careers
Programs and Purposes:
· The purpose of Keys to Success is to motivate students to unlock their future by connecting them to scholarships, internships, and careers.
· The purpose of Road to Success is to improve literacy skills of K-6 grade students through incentivized daily reading.
· The purpose of Women Who Succeed is to provide opportunities for girls and young women to grow confidence and leadership skills.
· The purpose of Ken Garff Esports is to enhance and enrich scholastic experiences through and beyond gaming.
Position Summary:
The Marketing Manager assists with marketing outreach for the Success in Education Foundation and its four statewide programs—Keys to Success, Road to Success, Women Who Succeed, and Ken Garff Esports. This position reports to the Director of Marketing and Events for Ken Garff Philanthropies. This position works closely with the Success in Education Program Directors to plan and execute marketing efforts for the foundation.
Marketing Job Responsibilities:
· Manage all marketing outreach for Success in Education’s four statewide, including graphically developing high-quality creative assets for distribution among each program and its specific audiences.
· Conduct weekly Marketing meetings with key organization stakeholders, including the Director of Marketing, VP of Programs, and Program Directors.
· Assist Program Managers in implementing effective social media strategies and best practices for organization social pages.
· Assist with branding efforts to ensure consistency throughout all marketing materials, including press, partnership & sponsorship relations.
· Work closely with Spin Off (Ken Garff in-house marketing department) to coordinate video and design projects.
· Coordinates printing projects including brochures, newsletters, posters, workbooks, swag, etc.
· Creatively develop and manage Success in Education’s monthly newsletter, including gathering content from Program Managers and designing in Mailchimp.
· Ensure equity and access are of high priority for student enrollment by targeting low-income schools, rural schools, and minority students in marketing efforts.
· Attend tabling events to promote the Success in Education and Ken Garff philanthropic programs.
· Attend and assist with major fundraising and program events.
· Communicate regularly with the Director of Marketing and Events to prioritize projects, coordinate marketing efforts, and ensure all design and collateral is on-brand and effective.
· Other duties as assigned.
Potential Programmatic Job Responsibilities:
The SIE Marketing Manager may be asked to assist with programmatic efforts in engaging local schools in the Success in Education programs. These responsibilities will ebb and flow but will be explicitly communicated to the Marketing Manager as they do.
· Collaborate with the SIE Program Coordinator to develop and manage positive relationships in Salt Lake City high schools.
· Visit schools regularly with the Program Coordinator to promote programs through activations, classroom visits, and more.
· Ensure equity and access are of high priority for student enrollment by targeting low-income schools, rural schools, and minority students.
· Work closely with the Program Coordinator to track KPI’s for schools and report to leadership on progress and challenges.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree
· 2 – 3 years' experience with non-profit marketing or similar
· Graphic design experience is necessary
· Mailchimp, Wordpress, social media management, and photography skills and experience are a plus.
· Ability to collect, process, and present measured results
· Must be proficient in Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
· Organized, self-starter, team player
· Has integrity and values transparency in the workplace
Other Work Conditions:
· This position requires occasional travel; primarily local and during business hours although some occasional out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
· This is a full-time, exempt position. Work schedule is Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.

Compensation:
· $55,000 annually
