Summary/Objective: The Marketing Operations Specialist will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing tradeshows and other marketing-led events. Based out of our Marketing facility, the Marketing Operations Specialist will work with Sales and Marketing leaders to order, prepare, and pack product to be sent to numerous tradeshows across the country. The person will also be comfortable on the phone and through email, coordinating booth space reservations and other show services orders, in addition to placing product orders internally to ensure our brands are best represented at the various events. With a significant number of tradeshows taking place every year, it is essential this person be highly detailed, organized, and self-motivated. This position requires lifting, positioning, and packing of product of varying weights, shapes, and sizes. He or she will also help execute photo and video productions by moving product, materials, or other assets to ensure a successful production. Duties and Responsibilities: Key point of contact for tradeshow coordination and execution Keep the marketing facilities organized and cleaned Help coordinate and organize photo/video productions through product samples Develop and foster strong working relationships across the organization to achieve company goals Must be comfortable operating a forklift in a busy, shared workspace Perform other duties as assigned To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. May sit for several hours at a time. Prolonged exposure to computer screens. May load or unload trucks departing for tradeshows or delivering products for show prep. Prolonged exposure to computer screens. Repetitive use of hands to handle product, open and re-pack product. Comfortable with the following: computer usage, basic tools (wrenches, hammers, etc.), box cutter, packing tape. Qualifications: Work Experience: 3 years of marketing experience and demonstrated track record of success in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns Education: Bachelor’s Degree Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) Organization Skills: Excellent organizational, ability to multi-tasking and shift priorities as needed Cross-functional Skills: Ability to communicate and collaborate across all functional areas (Sales, Marketing, Warehousing, Purchasing,etc.) Communication Skills: Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to communicate and collaborate within a high functioning team; professional & pleasant demeanor; demonstrated commitment to building strong business relationships with customer; ability to effectively communicate with senior leaders internally and with customers externally Competencies: Customer Focus Decision Quality Results, Action Oriented Displaying Technical Expertise Time Management/Organizational Ability Supervisory Responsibility: This role does not have supervisory experience upon hiring. Physical Demands: Ability to read, write, type and sit for long periods of time up to 8 hours per day; ability to analyze and solve complex problems; possess a high degree of attention to detail; some travel may be required Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time, salaried position working 40-45 hours a week.
