Marketing Program Manager, Global Campaigns & Programs, Training & Certification
Description The AWS Marketing team is looking for a Marketing Program Manager for our digital learning and certification products. This role is to help develop and implement the marketing strategy for digital learning and certification products, including implementation of programs, optimization and reporting mechanisms. AWS Skill Builder is our main digital learning platform: more than 600 free training courses as well as hands-on labs, jams and game-based learning. In addition, we offer 12 certifications from foundational to Associate and Professional levels. This person should be experienced in building new marketing programs; including using data to identify opportunities, collaborating across functional teams, and implementing marketing programs. They will need to work with other teams including Campaign Managers and Product Marketing to influence and coordinate plans. They will work with the wider marketing organization to identify opportunities to integrate digital learning into other teams’ activities. They will be responsible for reporting on progress to goals and to adapt to the changing needs of the business when necessary. Specifically, this role will be responsible for: 1/ helping to develop the annual strategic Digital Learning Marketing plan, 2/ developing targeting strategy with audiences and geographies, 3/ develop and implement global programs and associated content, 4/ monitoring and optimizing performance/progress to goal, 5/ integration of digital learning products and certifications within other marketing campaigns and programs including defining and measuring success. Key job responsibilities - Supports the creation of quarterly integrated marketing plans and calendar based on business priorities, new content/curriculum, trends, and region needs/analysis - Inputs into strategic marketing execution aligned closely with go-to-market (eg. emerging regions, localization, etc.) - Drives ROI meetings — analyzing gaps to goal and opportunities to further scale what’s working, in partnership with Product, Curriculum, Sales and Marketing - Stakeholder management and extended marketing team integration and activation: making sure that extended teams are aware of, and have access to self-serve messaging and assets. - Leads internal communication on integrated marketing for digital learning, collaborating with Campaign Managers, Product Marketing Managers, etc. - Track, monitor and analyze results and optimize iteratively based on market behavior and needs About the team AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. Basic Qualifications - 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience - Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements - Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) - Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion Preferred Qualifications - Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs - Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $72,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $155,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
