SUMMARY

Sun & Ski Sports is seeking a highly organized and motivated Marketing Project Manager to join our in-house Marketing Department. The successful candidate will oversee requirements, workflow and resource allocation across multiple projects within the creative services group. Key responsibilities include collaborating with business owners and marketing on creative requests, reviewing and entering requests for the creative team, appropriately assigning tasks, meeting deadlines, and ensuring smooth project progression through various stages. This role involves critical thinking regarding marketing and creative deliverables, managing timelines, tracking progress, and identifying potential bottlenecks. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and trafficking skills, creativity, and possess the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of marketing projects from concept through execution.Work with business stakeholders to develop detailed creative briefs and requests.Develop detailed project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and resource allocation to achieve marketing objectives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, digital, content, and product, to define project scope and deliverables.Manage various types of store signage, including window displays, in-store graphics, promotional banners, and informational signage.Develop and implement traffic management processes to optimize workflow and enhance team productivity.Adopt a customer-centered approach to decisions and actions in all facets of the business that are centered on a customers’ well-being. Monitor project progress, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure timely delivery of marketing initiatives.Keep stakeholders informed about the status of their requests.Facilitate project meetings, providing updates on milestones, budget, and potential risks to stakeholders and senior management.Manage budgets for marketing projects and track expenses accurately.Utilize project management tools to streamline processes and improve team communication.Conduct post-project evaluations to assess outcomes, gather lessons learned, and recommend process improvements.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.3+ years of experience in project management within a marketing or advertising environment.Strong understanding of marketing principles, tools, and strategies.Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Asana, Lytho) and Microsoft 365.Retail store experience is a plus.Detail-oriented with a strong ability to problem-solve and adapt to change.Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CAPM) are beneficial but not required.
