Dewberry is currently seeking a Marketing Pursuit Manager to lead proposal development efforts in support of our growing North Carolina water team. This individual will be an integral part of our Southeast Marketing Team. The Southeast marketing team supports local offices, strategic pursuits, and collaborates with other marketers to develop strategy and submit winning proposals to our targeted clients. Our team’s mission is to build office collaboration, leverage team members’ key skillsets, and drive strategy for our regions. Responsibilities Manages multiple marketing activities simultaneously in an effective and efficient manner under tight deadlines.Manage multiple proposal efforts simultaneously within diverse markets and service offerings.Write supporting proposal content including project descriptions, resumes, service group overviews, and executive summaries, etc.Review technical copy and edit for quality and win theme focused writing.Comply with our corporate standards to present a consistent appearance/style for presentation graphics, proposals, resumes, and collateral materials.Manage, develop, and maintain capture plans for critical pursuits and client action plans for high priority clientsSupport Business Development and operational personnel in market research, competitor analysis, and client intelligence.Possess the sales acumen to represent the firm appropriately with teaming partners and subcontractors, at events and business networking opportunities.Attends market-specific events, pre-proposal sessions, seminars, and industry networking opportunities. Required Skills & Required Experience A. or B.S. in Liberal Arts or equivalent experience required.8+ years of marketing experience (A/E/C industry preferred).Must have extensive MS Word, PowerPoint and Adobe InDesign experience. Other graphics software and CRM database experience is also desired.Exceptional written, editing, and oral communications skills.Effective project management skills, including planning, organization, problem identification and resolution, and resource management.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teamsMust be flexible, self-motivated, able to prioritize multiple tasks, coordinate shifting priorities, respond to short-term deadlines, and carry a diverse workload with tight timelinesJoin Dewberry and be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to making a positive impact on the communities we serve.
