WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Fors Marsh is seeking an experienced, intelligent, and motivated marketing research associate to join our Public Service Recruitment Research department in support of the U.S. Army Marketing and Advertising Program. This position is best suited for someone who enjoys market research and working collaboratively with team members, who consistently strives to improve, and who wants to use research to make an impact. Successful individuals in this role will thrive in a fast-paced deadline-driven and highly collaborative environment. Additionally, comfort with ambiguous and evolving nature of projects is a central component of this role.
*This is a temporary opportunity, not a permanent position, requiring full-time hours (40 hours per week) through March 31, 2025. Fors Marsh will assess the need to continue this engagement in March 2025.
Responsibilities include:
+ Supporting all aspects of the research process, including design, Institutional Review Board (IRB) packages, data collection, data analysis and interpretation, and reporting.
+ Quantitative analysis, including descriptive and inferential statistics and dataset manipulation (e.g., merging, recoding, cleaning) using Stata software.
+ Collaborating on data visualizations, presentation decks, and other project deliverables to summarize research methods, findings, and implications.
+ Interacting with project team on a day-to-day basis and working under tight deadlines to fulfill client requests.
+ Balancing roles and responsibilities across multiple concurrent studies and/or tasks.
+ Upholding the highest standards of quality control for yourself and others.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in social science, marketing, communications or related field.
+ A minimum of two years post-graduate professional research experience, preferably in the area of market or communication research, decision-making, or social psychology. Three years of experience is preferred.
+ Excellent quantitative analysis (e.g., descriptive and inferential statistics) and dataset manipulation skills (e.g., merging, recoding, cleaning) using Stata software.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office® products (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, and Excel®).
+ Experience creating visual and written summaries of research results.
+ Acute attention to detail and high level of organization.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ Ability to prioritize and work under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
+ Ability to work effectively independently, and as a team member.

Salary: $67,000-$73,000 annualized
