Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS), Mobility, Surveillance, and Bombers (MS&B) Business Development & Strategy Team is looking for an outstanding Business Development & Strategy Lead (Level 4) to support the Anti-submarine Warfare (ASW) market strategy-to-action process and team within the Global Control Pillar. This position will be located in Tukwila, WA.

Role’s objectives include maximizing P-8 Poseidon platform sales, proactively defining and shaping capability growth and corresponding platform requirements, executing investment allocation in support, and driving to campaign wins with both domestic U.S. Navy and international military customers.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

Experience as a capture team or sales leadExperience working in a program management / project management role5+ years of experience working within or with Military or DoD customersExperience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives3+ years of experience engaging in senior level communication including presentation development and report outs

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Current Secret or Top-Secret clearanceActive Project Management Professional (PMP) Certificate5 or more years of experience crafting capture plans / major sales campaigns10 or more years of experience working with Department of Defense and international equivalents, budget and/or acquisition processExperience with Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) contractsKnowledge / experience working with U.S. Navy Maritime Patrol (P-3 / P-8) communityKnowledge of emerging technologiesAbility to develop operational / marketing plans, define and manage program funds, and white papers for customer engagementUnderstanding of global industry-related market trends as well as customer opportunitiesIdentify and align win strategies to the customer’s most important requirements,
differentiate our offer in the market and drive Long Range Business Plans (LRBP)History of cultivating partnerships / strategic collaborations or innovative business models

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience, 18 years' related work experience, etc.).

Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary Pay range: $124,200 - $151,800
