PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $110,900.00-$135,600.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $86,100.00 - $160,300.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

IMPACT YOU'LL MAKE:

As the Marketing Strategy Manager at BECU, you will be the driving force behind member-centered marketing strategies that highlight the cooperative's benefits. Your role is pivotal in bridging marketing with internal business partners, ensuring that annual plans are managed and communicated effectively. You’ll dive deep into understanding key business drivers, analyzing market and industry trends, and translating these insights into actionable strategies. Your collaboration with the data & analytics team will allow you to develop in-depth analyses, fostering strong relationships with internal creative partners, digital marketing, and other key stakeholders. WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Develop Annual Marketing Plans: Craft, update, and share comprehensive marketing plans for assigned products/services, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Execute Strategic Initiatives: Design and implement strategic plans focused on product awareness, acquisition, utilization, and retention, while being accountable for achieving tangible results.

Collaborate on KPI Tracking: Partner with product management and analytics teams to identify, monitor, and report key performance indicators related to your assigned products and services.

Analyze Market Trends: Stay ahead of industry trends and competitive positioning. Use this knowledge to proactively develop proposals and tactics that align with BECU’s strategic goals.

Guide Marketing Campaigns: Direct, maintain, and coordinate marketing campaign materials with the marketing team, ensuring quality and consistency in all initiatives.

Prepare Communication Plans: Develop and implement communication plans that keep both project teams and member-facing staff informed about marketing campaign elements.

Track and Report Campaign Results: Oversee, analyze, and report the outcomes of all campaigns, whether online, traditional, or direct-to-member.

Lead Market Research Efforts: Initiate and participate in market and member research planning for your assigned products/services.

Represent BECU: Act as a representative for BECU at trade events and informational activities, showcasing our products and services.

Incorporate Member Feedback: Review and consider member feedback and suggestions to continually improve marketing program performance.

Advise on Marketing Strategy: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of marketing strategies, budgets, and metrics. Use this expertise to advise product management staff effectively.

Ensure Compliance: Keep up to date with all advertising compliance regulations relevant to Credit Unions on both national and state levels.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or equivalent work or education-related experience.

Minimum 7 years of experience as a Product Marketing Manager or in a related role.

Desired Qualifications:

Understanding of brand positioning and its relation to marketing strategies and tactics.

CRM and life-cycle marketing experience.

Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables.

Excellent written and presentation skills, including experience in developing and delivering presentations.

Strong business acumen with the ability to research and provide innovative business and competitive analytics.

Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, build relationships, and negotiate effectively.

Strong knowledge of BECU’s products, services, policies, procedures, and culture.

Advanced degree in Marketing or a related field.
