Marketing Student Assistant
Job Description:Essential Functions of the Job:
Social Media:
· Assist with the creation and execution of social media content and campaigns across Instagram and Facebook.
· Brainstorm and contribute creative ideas for new social media marketing initiatives.
· Conduct market research to inform campaigns and strategies.
Marketing Support:
· Collaborate with the Student Health Care Center providers and other departments to develop content and marketing materials.
· Create marketing collateral, including flyers, posters, and digital content using tools such as Canva.
Administrative Support:
· Edit and update website content using WordPress.
· Process and respond to emails sent to the shared inbox
Outreach:
· Support coordination for marketing activities and outreach efforts.
Expected Salary:$13.00 hourly
Minimum Requirements:This position is open to all students who are eligible to work on campus. Students must maintain a 2.0 grade point average. Registered students are employed on a part-time basis, up to 20 hours per week.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Familiarity with WordPress and Adobe Creative Suite.
· Health care marketing experience is a plus.
· Demonstrated interest in the Marketing/Communications field and social media
· Prior experience in marketing or social media
· Proficiency in Canva and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Strong attention to detail and creativity.
· Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with comfort engaging with incoming students and their families.
