Marketing Team Manager, Customer Experience (Europe)

Job Summary

As Taste Customer Experience Marketing Team Lead, you will ensure the extraordinary development and delivery of local market insights to create uncommon customer experience. Collaborating with local teams and engaging with customers, you will bring forward the market trends, opportunities, initiatives and targeted local marketing promotions and creative, impactful communication.

The role will see you garner category insight, creating value from various markets and consumers for taste, food and beverages projects. You will drive creative presentations that have commercial relevance along with innovative ideas that create experience.

Your Focus

As Taste Customer Experience Marketing Team Lead, you will ensure the extraordinary development and delivery of local market insights to create uncommon customer experience. Collaborating with local teams and engaging with customers, you will bring forward the market trends, opportunities, initiatives and targeted local marketing promotions and creative, impactful communication.

The role will see you garner category insight, creating value from various markets and consumers for taste, food and beverages projects. You will drive creative presentations that have commercial relevance along with innovative ideas that create experience.

To deliver this portfolio, you will lead a team of Customer Experience Marketing Team (of 6 team members) across European markets & locations.

The role can be remote / hybrid based i.e. in the Netherlands (Hilversum), France, Germany (Oberhausen), Belgium, the UK, Italy, Switzerland or Austria (open to other locations in Europe) and will report to Regional Marketing Leader, EAME.

How you will Contribute

Coach the Taste Customer Experience Marketing Team in ensuring local customer engagements and activities are well organizedDrive local engagement with customers with powerful storytelling, compelling ideas and meaningful ways to connectProvide expertise on market analysis and the generation of insights on various marketsEngagement with new potential customers, brands, food & beverage products, flavors and associated recommendations for the businessSupport proactive and reactive customer driven projects in a way that significantly increases the chances of generating winning business opportunitiesBe the strategic partner in bringing forward local insights, trends and identifying opportunities, and relevant initiatives as key team member in EAME Regional Marketing TeamDeliver creative and impactful communication both internally and externallyLead marketing communication, presentations and event management such as exhibitions, conferences, food safaris, communication planning etc whenever necessary

What you will need to be successful

Master´s or Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business, Communication or any other relevant disciplineMinimum 8-10 years of marketing experience in B2C or B2B environment from either Food Ingredients industry or Fast Moving Consumer Goods. Working experience in advertising agency is an added advantage.At least 4-5 years of team leading or management experienceStrong communication lead proven track record and excellent presentation skillsSolid understanding of functional and technical capabilities, including knowledge of the consumer and different marketsExpertise in market analysis, communication campaigns, concept development and event managementProficiency of data mining, analysis, insight generation and drawing conclusionsCapability to digest marketing information from numerous sources as well as data sources, create logical arguments and apply it relevantly, to determine direction and future idea focus.Strong business acumen and ability to translate market and consumer insights into business opportunitiesCollaborative approach with cross-functional team and driven to lead project execution at local market levelAmbitious, proactive, creative and willing to embrace and deliver changeAbility to deliver in a fast pace environment and under pressureCurious approach, enjoy difficult challengesCreates compelling communication to teams or stakeholders to drive strategyExperience in building effective teams, including recruiting, hiring, developing and retaining talentsTeam player, ability to motivates others towards a common goal to achieve resultsOther language proficiency is a plus on top of fluency in EnglishWillingness to commit to travel
