Location Name Columbus Corporate Headquarters ResponsibilitiesThe Marketing Technology Lead is responsible for the oversite of Marketing technologies. This position will work directly with Marketing and eCommerce leaders to define and drive technology strategy within the marketing space. This position is also expected to drive Marketing-related deliverables, oversight of day-to-day support, and be a Subject Matter Expert on Customer Data. This individual will be adept at delivering complex enterprise projects and will remove barriers for individuals and between teams and be responsible for near-term and long-term portfolio planning including creation of five-year long-range plans aligning technology roadmaps to business objectives. This experienced marketing technology leader will ensure critical data is governed, secured, trusted, relevant and accessible for enterprise use. This resilient leader will provide leadership and support with respect to data solutions, systems analysis, application development, and implementation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Subject matter expert on marketing technology and current technology implementation/processesLead cross-functional teams to deliver marketing-focused solutions using appropriate agile project methodologies.Evaluates employee performance, sets expectations and goals for project team and project members, trains staff, interviews and hires consultants, promotes a culture of growth through positive team and associate developmentCollaborates directly with senior leadership to shape strategic pillars and directs the engineering team to deliver key initiativesDefine, create, and enforce an appropriate agile-first software development life cycle (SDLC)Lead the production of comprehensive project plans and documentationOversee the monitoring, measuring, reviewing and updating project processes for continuous improvement in deliveryProvide leadership to those involved in the project by defining work and ensuring deadlines are understood and adhered to and that project objectives are clearly articulated and understoodExhibit fiscal mastery including initial project budget creation, resource planning, financial forecasting, change request management, and appropriate staffing decisionsEnsure project requirements and resource levels are fully supported and approved throughout the lifecycle of the project, including staffingRegularly interfaces with business stakeholders and leaders to align on priorities and enjoys building positive and productive relationshipsAligns goals, priorities and deliverables with the business functions and third-party vendorsResearch product development options and provide analysis for product direction within the marketing spaceConsults with leaders across departments to collaboratively identify and prioritize company needs including championing data governance, data standards, and data use policies
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant area of study7+ years of technology experience3-5+ years of experience leading Marketing Project teams with agile project management methods3-5+ years of experience with big data, cloud computing, or marketing technologies3+ years of experience with Loyalty Frameworks and Processes3+ years of experience with Marketing Campaigns and Processes1-3 years of experience managing cross-functional projectsExpert experience with JIRA Scrum and Kanban managementOutstanding communication skills with all levels of management including executive leadership and business/IT partners across the organizationExperience in data analytics, master data, data warehouse, or big data functionsParticipate in 24/7 on-call support activities as an escalation pointExcellent troubleshooting, root cause analysis and resolution skillsExcels in a fast-paced environment, comfortable navigating through ambiguity, thrives under pressureAbility to multitask and manage multiple priorities effectively
