JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

Position Summary 

The Marketing Technology Manager is a key member of the marketing team responsible for driving the adoption, optimization, and effectiveness of marketing technology platforms and tools. This role will bridge the gap between marketing, data strategy, IT, business intelligence and vendors to ensure that marketing initiatives are powered by efficient and innovative technology solutions. The Marketing Technology Manager will focus on enhancing the customer journey, supporting franchisee operations, and improving marketing outcomes through data-driven insights and technology enablement. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

Marketing Technology Strategy and Management: Serve as the subject matter expert for all marketing technology platforms, including CRM, marketing automation, lead generation, and lead management tools. Oversee the implementation, integration, and maintenance of marketing technology solutions, ensuring alignment with broader business goals. Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate new technologies and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Platform Optimization and Adoption: Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to identify process gaps and optimize the use of tools such as the Online Estimator Tool (OET) and Pulse (leads management tracker). Drive user adoption of marketing technologies through training, resources, and best practice sharing with franchisees and internal teams. Develop and manage documentation, workflows, and guidelines for marketing technology platforms. Data and Analytics: Work closely with the data strategy and business intelligence teams to ensure marketing platforms capture and provide actionable insights. Create dashboards and reports to measure the performance of campaigns, tools, and franchisee engagement. Leverage data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement within the marketing funnel. Project Management and Collaboration: Lead cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders, including marketing, operations, IT, and external vendors. Coordinate with external partners, such as Slalom, for the successful launch and ongoing support of marketing technologies. Maintain project timelines, budgets, and deliverables for technology initiatives. Support Franchisee Success: Act as a resource for franchisees, ensuring they understand and effectively use marketing technologies to drive customer engagement and sales. Gather feedback from franchisees to inform updates, training, and enhancements to tools. 

 

Qualifications 

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in marketing technology, digital marketing, or a related field. Strong understanding of marketing technology platforms, including websites, CRM, marketing automation, and lead management systems. Key components of the technology stack for Maaco Marketing include: Contentful, Zeta, AWS, Google Cloud and proprietary platforms such as the OET (online estimator tool) and Pulse (leads management system for shops) Familiarity with development processes to design, develop, test, and deploy projects efficiently and cost-effectively (e.g., SDLC) and the project management or ticketing systems such as Jira, Monday and Trello.  Experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders and delivering on time and within budget. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. A collaborative mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. 

Preferred Qualifications 

Experience in franchise or multi-location businesses. Proficiency in data analysis tools and visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Familiarity with customer-facing tools and lead management systems. Knowledge of the automotive industry is a plus.
