D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Marketing Technology Quality Assurance Specialist. The right candidate will help ensure that the Marketing Operations Development and UI Design Specialist teams develop and deliver solutions that are clear of defects and meet the needs and expectations of end-users and customers following an Agile and iterative process. The Marketing Technology Quality Assurance Specialist will help define and build out the Marketing Operations team’s quality assurance processes, procedures, and best practices. The team will assist in implementing new testing processes and procedures leveraged across all Marketing Technologies and Operations projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Assist in testing all Marketing Technology deploymentsBuild out Marketing Technology testing processes and proceduresAdhere to the organization’s hybrid Agile framework, processes, and ceremoniesWork closely with Marketing Technology BA, Development, and Support teamsCreate Test Cases for all testable work itemsAssess new Quality Assurance best practices and help implement changes into current workstreamsConstantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues, and deliver better value to the customerConducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the companyAbility to work overtimeAbility to travel overnight

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)Three to five years of experience in business/system analysis or quality assurance Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools Knowledge of full application lifecycle, development and project design tools and methodologies, and all agile ceremonies Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applicationsProficiency with MS Office and emailAbility to sit for majority of 8-hour workday; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral visionThe noise level is generally moderate

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science or a related field a plusExperience with testing scripts, system testing, use cases, and platform integrations is preferredStrong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong interpersonal skills including the ability to work well on a team, share and collaborate on projects, and help develop technical and strategy items Should exhibit creativity and resourcefulness Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
