What’s in it for you: : We are seeking a skilled and motivated web developer with a strong WordPress focus to take ownership of the technical maintenance, support, and ongoing development of our company website hosted on Pantheon. You will be responsible for ensuring the website's security, performance, and stability, collaborating with our branding partner for major updates, and assisting in migrating our marketing automation platform from HubSpot to Pardot. Your primary focus will be on maintaining the overall health, functionality, and performance of our website, with the opportunity to expand your role into other marketing technology areas over time. Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of our WordPress website, including plugin and theme updates, security monitoring, and performance optimization. Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, including bug fixes, performance problems, and plugin conflicts. Collaborate with our branding partner to implement website updates and new features, ensuring seamless integration of design elements and branding guidelines. Stay up-to-date on the latest WordPress trends and security best practices, adhering to coding standards to ensure website maintainability and scalability. Implement SEO best practices to improve the website's organic search visibility. Proactively identify and address potential website performance bottlenecks. Track and report on key website performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of website updates and identify areas for improvement. Contribute to the ongoing improvement of our website development workflow and processes. Assist with the migration of our website's contact forms and related functionalities from HubSpot to Pardot. Take on additional responsibilities related to other marketing technologies as needed, demonstrating a willingness to learn and adapt to evolving business needs. What We’re Looking For: Proven experience in WordPress development, including theme and plugin management, customization, and troubleshooting. Solid understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and responsive design principles. Working knowledge of PHP and MySQL for back-end development Familiarity with Git for version control and code management. Knowledge of marketing automation platforms such as Pardot or Hubspot. Experience with Google Analytics or other website analytics tools. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
