Markets Leadership and Development Specialist
**About this role:** The Markets division within Corporate and Investment Banking is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant to join its team. The position will report to the Markets Development Officer Leader. This position will provide tactical support to the Markets Development Office for all initiatives and projects associated with the staffing, development and retention of early talent within the Markets Division as well as assisting with talent planning and leadership development of more seasoned Markets teammates and managers. The Business Execution Consultant will partner closely with various individuals and groups across CIB, including senior leaders, Business Managers, HR Business Partners, University Programs, University Recruiting, Lateral Recruiting, and other Development Officers in support of these efforts. **In this role, you will:** Key responsibilities of the Lead Business Execution Consultant will include, but not be limited to: + Work directly with CIB Development Officer Leaders and key partners in support of: All initiatives and projects associated with the development, and retention of junior bankers as well as new and aspiring managers across the Markets platform + Assist with talent planning, development planning and leadership coaching of Markets managers in partnership with Markets HR business partners and Market senior leadership teams; + Engaging with Analysts and Associates with a focus on retention and relevant topics, including continuous training and other career and professional development initiatives; + Liaising with HR Business Partner on personnel topics and issues. + Supporting the Markets leadership team’s diversity and human capital initiatives. **Required Qualifications:** + 5+ years in one or a combination of the following: Human Resources, Talent or Leadership Development, or strategic planning in financial services demonstrated through work or military experience **Desired Qualifications:** + The ideal candidate should have a passion for employee engagement talent planning and enhancing their overall experience + A BS/BA degree or higher + Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills + Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives + Preferably in Sales & Trading or Markets-based environment + Experience in talent development or other human resources discipline + Experience building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadership + Experience developing partnerships and collaborating with other business and functional areas + Experience developing and cultivating professional relationships **Job Expectations:** + Travel – up to 15% + The position can be located in Charlotte, NC or New York City, NY. Travel may be required to the Markets Division’s various offices. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location.
