This position will typically have you at 2-3 different sites a week, every week will be a set schedule though with options to pick up shifts as needed. **A caregiver in this position works 8:00am-5:00am or 12:00pm-6:00pm.** A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Administer therapeutic massage and bodywork modalities, including techniques that provide deep tissue, Swedish, trigger point, stretching, pregnancy/post-partum massage, acupressure, reflexology, and hydrotherapy for Chiropractic patients. + Administer therapeutic services, including electrical stimulation, therapeutic ultrasound, and stretching and strengthening activities (Under the direction of the chiropractic physician). + Work within the Scope of Practice as a Licensed Massage Therapist and an Unlicensed Supportive Personnel under the Ohio Revised Code + Interview patients to determine medical history, condition, desired results, and appropriate modality. + Monitors patient's responses to treatment and adjusts, changes, or terminates treatment based on feedback. + Document patient information, interview responses, treatments, feedback, and results. + Maintain therapy area in a clean, safe, sterile, and Organizational state. + Assist patients to safely perform activities related to the development of strength and endurance Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + High school graduate or equivalent. + Graduate of an accredited massage therapy training program. + Licensed in Massage Therapy (LMT) by the State of Ohio. + Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. + 1 year of experience providing massage services or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience. Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Experience working in the health care field.
