Master's Clinician (Mental Health Clinician)

Position: Mental Health Clinician 

Hrs. /Week: 32 - 40 hours                                                  Department: BH&CS

Salary: $66,500-$72,500/annually (Full-Time)

Program: CCBHC 

Reports to: Project Director and Clinic Director

Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A


Responsibilities:

1. Provide individual counseling as needed.

2. Complete assessments, intakes, client schedules, treatment plans, periodic reviews and aftercare plans in timely fashion.

3. Provide accurate and timely documentation of services delivered, including case management service and group participation, as instructed by your supervisor.

4. Provide patient education relating to the illness of chemical dependency and the process of recovery.

5. Direct training groups and seminars and provide therapeutic leadership in group counseling sessions.

6. Participate in all staff meetings and staff supervision.

7. Contributes to the ongoing assessment and treatment planning process through participation in daily reports, case reviews, and treatment teams.

8. Maintain knowledge of community-based resources and complete referrals as needed.

9. Perform duties to reflect agency policies and procedures.

10. Perform other related work duties as needed or as assigned by supervisor or designee.

11. Execute duties to reflect reasonable safety standards. Standard/universal precautions must be utilized and training obtained in areas that constitute risk.


Qualifications:

1. Current licensure or license eligible by the state of Massachusetts as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Social Worker (LCSW or LICSW) and holding a Master’s or doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or Social Work..


Skills and knowledge required:

• Must demonstrate sensitivity to cultural diversity, excellent communication, time-management, organizational and interpersonal skills.

• Must possess group facilitation skills, public speaking ability and knowledge of fiscal budgeting
