RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides In-Home community based therapeutic services to at-risk youth for contracts with the Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) following CDC guidelines and provided PPE to ensure safety Provides mental health and/or substance use assessment and counseling services according to Evidenced Based Practices, DJJ contract, and in accordance with policies and proceduresProvides weekly individual therapy and family therapy when applicable per DJJ contractDemonstrates an understanding of clinical signs / symptoms and able to formulate a treatment plan to address therapeutically diagnosis needs and quality of care for clientMust be flexible to accommodate clients’ schedules and provide therapeutic services during evening hours and weekendsMaintains ongoing chart audits to ensure compliance and quality assurance of services provideDemonstrates proficiency in utilizing community resources as supportive services and discharge planningServes as a liaison for the client, family, referral source and other social service agenciesWorks effectively with culturally diverse groups and individuals experiencing an exacerbation of either psychiatric, substance use and/or medical symptoms, as well as experiencing a stressful situation Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a minimum of a Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling or related field plus a minimum of one year of experience providing mental health and/or substance use counseling.

Must have knowledge, understanding and experience utilizing Evidence Based Practices including CBT/MIMust be flexible and adaptable to meet clients’ needs Must be motivated to serve others and develop professionally Must have excellent organization and time management skillsMust have a solid clinical foundation and understandingMust successfully complete all criminal background checks annuallyMust provide documentation of a valid Florida driver’s license and proof of insurance which must be maintained throughout tenure in the amount of at least $10,000/$30,000/$10,000 for liability limitsMust maintain a safe driving record with no more than 6 points on motor vehicle report (MVR)Must be Computer literate and comfortable with using TEAMS, Zoom, Electronic Medical Records, Electronic Employee System, etc.
