THE JOB:


As a Master Cook at StripSteak, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality cuisine in one of Las Vegas’ premier modern American steakhouses. You will have the opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise across a variety of premium cuts of aged beef, seafood, and classic favorites. Your precision and skill will ensure that each dish embodies the wood-fired, butter-poached perfection that StripSteak is renowned for. You will play an integral role in delivering extraordinary dining experiences that guests will carry with them far beyond their stay.

THE STARTING PAY: $24.9379


THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Follow established methods for food preparation, cooking, portioning, sauce-making, and garnishing, all as directed by the Chef, Executive Sous Chef, and Sous Chef.Set up your workstation based on pars established by the kitchen leadership team and operate specific stations with precision.Evaluate the quality of food before serving, ensuring each dish meets the highest standards of flavor and appearance.Assist with the proper storage of food at safe holding temperatures, using thermometers and adhering to health and safety guidelines.Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure orders are handled accurately and timely, delivering exceptional guest experiences.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

1+ years of prior relevant experience cooking in a professional kitchen environmentHigh school diploma, GED, or educational equivalentStrong culinary skills, particularly in cooking, portioning, and sauce-making.Attention to detail and the ability to evaluate food quality by taste and presentation.A team player who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen and can manage multiple tasks efficiently.Knowledge of health and safety standards, with a focus on food storage and sanitation.Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
