Your role and responsibilitiesAs an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through various projects. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.The work model for the role is: onsiteThis role is contributing to the Electrification Business.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tCollaborate with Global Product Managers to improve the quality of product master data, using analytical skills to identify and address discrepancies and inaccuracies.•\tWork with Global Product Managers and local colleagues to unify local material definitions, analyzing and reconciling local material data with master data.•\tEvaluate product data quality, focusing on product lines, and establish connections between product lines, PGs, and product codes to ensure organizational consistency.•\tMonitor the data governance app to ensure P&M data accuracy and completeness, identifying and resolving data errors and duplicates using BI tools.•\tWork with teams across different hubs to align master data practices and engage with internal stakeholders globally.•\tDocument processes, issues, and resolutions, and generate reports using PowerBI to support decision-making.
Qualifications for the role\tCurrently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Information Management, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields, in the United States. \tIntern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite. \tMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future. \tUtilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions\tEffectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines\tDemonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality\tCollaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress
