Master Data Manager
What We Need: This position is an engineering role servicing a diverse range of technical and project management requirements. This may include designing and redesigning processes and systems to reduce cost and/or improve quality, integrating activities and processes throughout the business into operational systems/solutions. This role includes ownership of department business metrics as well as engineering support and project management. This position will have management responsibility for area team members. Individuals must be able to effectively interact with all areas of the business including R&D, engineering, shop floor, management, planning & inventory control, etc. What You'll Be Doing: + Applying technical knowledge in science or engineering disciplines to analyze and solve problems, creating innovative solutions that align with organizational objectives. + Managing projects effectively by conducting meetings, setting clear objectives, establishing team expectations, and ensuring project milestones are met. + Handling complex assignments and problems by evaluating situations with limited precedents, leveraging critical thinking, and working independently or collaboratively to devise solutions. + Developing and monitoring performance metrics for processes, baselines data, and implements systematic improvements to meet or exceed targets. + Collaborating with Customer Service and Manufacturing teams to resolve product and process issues while driving continuous improvements. + Identifying and elimination non-value-added activities by analyzing workflows and implementing streamlined processes. + Supporting hiring and performance management by participating in recruitment, conducting appraisals, addressing disciplinary actions, and fostering team development. + Standardizes operational processes and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency across teams. + Serves as a technical expert, providing guidance and support to internal teams and external stakeholders within their area of responsibility. + Ensuring compliance with standard work policies and procedures, reinforcing best practices across the team. + Leads with energy and adaptability, effectively managing changing priorities and maintaining a high level of engagement and productivity. What You Will Need To Be Successful: + Bachelors degree in engineering, engineering technology, or related field + 3 to 5 years of industrial/commercial engineering experience with clear evidence of progressively increasing project responsibility(s). + Demonstrable evidence of project management skills + Demonstrable evidence of effective communication skills (verbal and written). + Experience and developed skill with MS Office Suite applications and AutoCAD or similar design software. + Ability to eliminate variability, establish standard processes and ensure adherence to standard work + Uses data to drive decisions. + Ability to lead teams in a multi-disciplined operation + Ability to effectively manage change in people, hardware and processes About Us: Who we are:Brady makes products that make the world a safer and more productive place.
