Job Summary:
Master Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping the facility operating and repairing system problems. Master Maintenance Technician is required to lead the team, mentor Maintenance Technicians and Senior Maintenance Technicians, and act as systems subject matter expert (SME) for the facility and equipment.
Job Responsibilities:Prioritizes and coordinates work assignments for Maintenance Technicians and Senior Maintenance Technicians to ensure critical work assignments are completed correctly and on a timely basis.Mentors Maintenance Technicians and Senior Maintenance Technicians through orientation, training, establishment of objectives, communication of good maintenance practices.Prioritizes, schedules and performs:preventative maintenance tasks and mechanical repairs to material-handling and other DC equipment.preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance on high-tech automated equipment.Uses Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to maintain distribution machinery and equipment according to the manufacturer’s recommendations and good maintenance practices.Maintains a safe work environment by documenting and correcting potential safety issues concerning material-handling equipment or distribution center facility.About Walgreens and WBA:
