Our Vocational Training (VT)/Student Training and Rotation Program (STAR) program is currently offered in 14 countries and counts around 1,500 students and trainees.
With more than 1200 employees, our SAP Labs Munich is a leading innovation center in the areas of commerce, digital supply chain, mobile development, and artificial intelligence. During your rotating practical phases, you will work in different teams and gain insights into various topics. You will broaden your knowledge in your preferred working fields and prepare yourself for a successful career in the IT industry.
What you'll do
Starting on March 1st, 2025, the program kicks off with a comprehensive five-week onboarding phase in which you will strengthen your technical skills and get to know SAP and your fellow program participants.
Our program provides you with numerous opportunities within SAP. Throughout the program, you will rotate through four different departments (one per semester), which you can choose according to your interests.
The Munich SAP office is located right on the TUM Campus in Garching, offering optimal integration of the program with your studies. You will work an average of 20 hours per week, with flexible working hours to suit your lecture times. In alignment with your rotational team, you can, for instance choose to work just two days a week during lecture periods and full-time during non-lecture periods.
At the end of your studies, in consultation with your university supervisor, you can write a practice-oriented master's thesis with SAP.
For your personal and professional development, there will be plenty of training options for pursuing your individual development goals.

What you'll bring
Bachelor's degree with a grade average of 2.5 or better
Acceptance letter for or enrollment in one of the following master's programs at TUM (starting your master in October 2024 or March 2025):
Faculty of Informatics: Informatics, Information Systems with focus area Computational Science and Engineering, Data Engineering and Analytics or Robotics, Cognition, Intelligence orFaculty of Economics: Management and Technology or
Faculty of Mathematics: Mathematics in Data Science
Advanced knowledge in the pursued master's program (e.g., we expect well-grounded technical expertise and programming as well as data analytics skills for students of Information Systems)
First professional experience through apprenticeships, long-term internships, or working student positions is a plus
Excellent level of English, both written and spoken
Self-starter and the willingness to learn every day
Social thinking and acting are preferred
