About the Role:  We are looking for a full time Master Planner to join our Fabrics team. The Master Planner is responsible for generating the Supply Plan which balances the mid to long term supply and capacity plans. They generate scenario plans creating options for consideration and decisions. They develop inventory strategies in alignment with Supply Chain and Sales objectives. They are the liaison between supply planning and the Demand Planning. The Master Planner facilitates the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) Supply Review process.

 

This position will be located at a facility in Elkton, Maryland, with the possibility of a hybrid remote work arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.

 

Pay and Benefits:

$95,000 - $120,000 per year Factors considered in extending an offer within this pay range include (but not limited to) education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Responsibilities: 

Generate the 5 year plan to support Product life cycle management or credible growth plan Develop inventory strategies in alignment with the Supply Chain and Sales; recommend changes to inventory strategies as required  Translate demand requirements and supply capability into a time phased aggregate finished goods supply and inventory plan balanced with business objectives Evaluate the 4-24 month materials plan with consideration of our supplier capabilities and constraints Perform resource requirements planning (RRP) to generate and evaluate mid-long term capacity plans Create Scenario plans to evaluate options for upside and downside planning cases for volume and financial impact  Escalate issues to leadership for visibility and reconciliation as needed Champion for supply planning metrics and communicates impact to S&OP community Lead continuous improvement of aggregate supply planning processes Provide planning guidance to Distribution Planner and Master and Asset schedulers to execute on the aggregate plan

Required Qualifications: 

BS/BA degree in Supply Chain, business, or technical field AND minimum of 5 years relevant experience, OR a minimum of 10 years proven experience in one or more of the following: Strategic Sourcing, Demand Planning, Master Scheduling, Supply Chain Leadership roles Expertise in Sales & Operations Planning processes in the mid and long- term horizons; specializing in all levels of SUPPLY planning Expertise in scenario planning, including ability to work with financial assessments Expertise in ERP functionality to support Supply Planning processes Deep understanding of inventory management & strategies Demonstrated knowledge of asset reliability and productivity Demonstrated ability to identify, develop and implement solutions Ability to travel up to 10%

 

Desired Qualifications: 

MBA (Master’s Supply Chain or Master’s Business Administration) APICS (ASCM) CPIM certification, or CSCP certification Continuous Improvement certification
