Job Description
We are seeking a Master Production Planner with thorough and in-depth knowledge of ERP Systems, Master Production Scheduling, Production Planning, and Capacity Planning. The successful candidate will create and maintain detailed master production and material plans for the product line to drive Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and plan production capacity to support SOP. The role involves managing raw material inventory levels, developing necessary records and documentation in compliance with ISO system requirements, and managing the daily activities of the Production Control Team.
ResponsibilitiesCreate and maintain detailed master production and material plans for the product line.Run and control MRP to guarantee required production flexibility and reach targeted inventory levels.Address the procedure from initial data collection and analysis to MRP generation.Load forecast data into MRP.Produce and distribute the build plan to Contract Manufacturers, considering MRP results and CM flexibility constraints.Exercise independent judgment in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for problem-solving.Introduce and integrate new technologies and/or processes as needed.Manage raw materials inventory levels.Develop and maintain necessary records and documentation in compliance with ISO system requirements.Manage daily activities of the Production Control Team.Essential SkillsThorough knowledge of ERP Systems, Master Production Scheduling, Production Planning, and Capacity Planning.Experience with ERP Software; familiarity with NetSuite programs is a plus.Mastery of MS Office and Excel for efficient data communication; Power BI is a plus.Familiarity with MES software.Ability to read, write, and speak English.Additional Skills & QualificationsDegree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or 7 years of equivalent experience.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to clearly communicate with engineering, technical support, and management.Comfortable presenting in front of small to medium-sized groups.Outstanding business acumen with a commercial and financial understanding.Strong interpersonal skills.Ensure best practice methods are established and utilized using documented Standard Work Instructions.Work Environment
This is an on-site role located in Midland, TX. The position offers relocation assistance, a stipend, and stock options. The work environment involves working with various software such as NetSuite, MS Office, Excel, Power BI, and MES software. The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative team focused on achieving production goals and maintaining high standards of quality.
