Master Production Planner Apply now » Date:Jan 3, 2025 Location: Dayton, OH, US, 45420 Company: Kodak Role Overview The Master Production Planner will work with the manufacturing organization in supporting of production process for devices, modules, and service parts to comply and meet the Master Production Schedule. Responsibilities: + Interpret MRP output to plan replenishment orders for Prosper & Ultrastream products, field repair units, service spares stock. Work with manufacturing buyers and planners to maintain promise dates for orders and expedite as necessary. Provide first-line support to Production Team Leaders and Management. Produce, update, and communicate backorder status and plan for resolution. Resolve shortage situations by proactively managing and monitoring inventory levels for assigned materials. + Initiate and maintain current and accurate material master data (such as lead time, safety stock, independent requirement plan) for all assigned materials. Work with the Last Time Buy team to help review obsolescent materials. + Work with the Supply Chain Manager to provide mentorship & direction for the Planning team to successfully achieve shipment goals. Oversee the planning process and help to streamline or automate to improve overall business practises. + Engage in PLM meetings with Engineering, Planners and Buyers by reviewing new material set up and implementation, which includes master data set up, internal PIRs and BOM setups. Knowledge: + Completed APICS, MRP and Inventory courses, or have equivalent hands-on MRP experience. (SAP experience is a requirement). + Very experienced working knowledge of SAP, Material Master data and MRP. + Good knowledge of the inventory management and the ability to prioritize the demand of multiple parts at once. + Strong ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel internally and externally. Detail oriented and innovative. + Analytical and problem-solving skills + Sense of Urgency + Strong drive for simplification and process improvement is a must. + Able to adapt to a fast-changing environment and work well under ambiguity and pressure around the clock.
