Job Description

As a Master Rigger you will be accountable for:

Rigging studies and risk assessments of all complicated lifts.Supervise rigging team.Manage all rigging and crane activities onsite.Clearly define scope of work.Following the planning and ensuring that equipment is in good working condition and ensuring correct equipment is used for the correct jobs.Ensuring personal and team workplace practices are safe, efficient and maintain a high safety standard throughout all work practices.Inspecting rigging equipment for any defects before use.

This role is at a C3 level reporting to the Engineering Foreman.

QualificationsN2 Certificate (N3 or N4 will be advantageous)Rigger Trade CertificateAAP SIMM inspectors course (advantageous)Crane Inspection TrainingAdvance Scaffolding Erection (advantageous)Advanced Scaffolding Inspection (advantageous)

Experience:

8 years experience of which 4-5 years as a qualified rigger within the mining of heavy industrial sector
